Jake Violante and his family have a heart for the people in their community who are hard of hearing or deaf. Jake does not work on Thursdays. He spends his day with his family reaching out to the deaf people in their area. There are people who live in silence, with no one close to them who speaks American Sign Language. The Violantes offer conversations and friendship. They interpret and bring ministry to a community that may not have any other opportunity to receive such a blessing. Jake’s parents spent time doing this work, and now they enjoy the friendships they made.

George Elfering has a heart for kids. He knows that they need experiences in life to create strong social skills, learn critical thinking and grow strong bodies. George also knows that not everyone is meant to be great at everything they try.

George also knows that not everyone is meant to be great at everything they try. He is a sponsor for a youth golfing program. Because of his contribution, all kids who participate get a trophy too! All efforts are recognized. As George said, "not everyone is a champion golfer. That doesn't mean they didn't try hard. They shouldn't go home feeling bad about their effort. You should be proud that you did your best. "

Terry Stamm, a Color Glo Franchisee in Kansas, went with a group from his church in February to work on hurricane-damaged homes in Houston. They make annual mission trips to areas where they can make a difference.
They worked on removing and replacing the exterior siding and soffit, put down a tile floor in a bathroom, laid vinyl flooring throughout a house, replaced 6 windows, 3 doors, painted and textured walls and so much more.
